COVID-19 Tips and Solutions: How Identiv Can Help You Stay Safe, Smart, and Secure
Frictionless access
Our newly launched MobilisID is a smart mobile physical access control solution that uses the latest in Bluetooth and capacitive technologies to allow frictionless access to a controlled environment without the need to present a credential. It’s a totally touchless access control option (your mobile device remains in your pocket and you simply wave your hand in front of the reader).
Cloud-based access control
Velocity Cirrus, our new cloud-based Access Control as a Service (ACaaS) solution, allows you to control, manage, maintain and update your physical access solution via a fast, simple-to-navigate web user interface — all from the comfort of your home (requires a set-up for new customers, and a database change for current customers). Velocity Web Console gives you the same mobile functionality as Cirrus while maintaining your current “on-prem” solution.
Working from home
As more and more companies are now requiring employees to work remotely, we’re seeing an influx of smart card reader and token orders. We can help you cut costs as you keep your staff safe. Save 50% on select Identiv identity devices for secure network log-in while working from home. We have the tools to help keep work flowing while ensuring everyone’s data (and health!) stays safe.
Remote government employees
Thursby’s Sub Rosa suite of products provides you with the ability to access two-factor websites, sign, encrypt, and decrypt emails, view, edit, and create calendar events, and edit and sign PDF documents from your iPhone, iPad, or Android phone or tablet — all from the comfort of home.
Mobile video monitoring
Our new 3VR Mobile Investigator allows you to connect to any 3VR appliance or video management system (VMS) from anywhere — making it simple to monitor security videos from home.
Cleaning touch surfaces
We recommend that when disinfecting touch surfaces, like Hirsch ScramblePad and uTrust TS Keypad Readers, avoid the use of alcohol or bleach-based disinfectants, as these may cause the keypad material to become opaque and difficult to read after multiple cleanings. The EPA’s list of Registered Antimicrobial Products for the Use Against Novel Coronavirus provides additional information on disinfectants that CAN be used to clean and disinfect keypad surfaces.
