Identiv Announces New AGM Date
FREMONT, Calif., January 11, 2016 — Identiv, Inc. (NASDAQ: INVE) filed a Report on Form 8-K on Friday, January 8, 2016 announcing that it will hold its next Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) on May 12, 2016. Due to the meeting falling after the end of calendar year 2015, the Company is required to include 2015 audited financial statements with its proxy for the meeting.
May 12, 2016 reflects the earliest practical date the Company can reasonably set for its 2015 AGM, given the audit process and the requirement to include 2015 financial results, the filing of a revised preliminary proxy, and allowing time for printing, mailing, and returning of proxies. Identiv would normally hold its 2016 AGM this upcoming June. However, given the delay of its 2015 AGM and to reduce cost to the company and inconvenience to stockholders, Identiv is planning to put in the extra effort to complete all of the proxy, Form 10-K, and related actions for the 2016 AGM on the current timeline and hold a single meeting on May 12, 2016 in lieu of two separate meetings.
