PRODUCT END-OF-SALE NOTICE: DIGI*TRAC Series Access Control Panels

For more than 28 years, the Hirsch family of DIGI*TRAC Controllers — M2, M8, and MSP — have secured and managed access to thousands of doors in government, industrial, institutional, and commercial facilities around the world. Many of those controllers are still on the job after all of these years, a testament to the quality of the design and construction, as well as their ability to be upgraded with new features and communications capabilities.

In the two years since we launched the Mx series panel, it has proven itself to be a worthy successor to the DIGI*TRAC legacy and reputation as the heart of the Hirsch system. Mx includes all of the hardware and firmware features that made the DIGI*TRAC panels famous, in a scalable form factor with updated communications, encryption, and operational microprocessors for superior performance.

As a result, as announced in April, the end-of-sale process for the DIGI*TRAC family of controllers follows the schedule below. Affected products include the M2N, M2N2, M8N, M8N2, and MSPN-8R, both 110VAC and 230VAC configurations.
